Privacy Policy for Panic Button (Botón Antipánico) Effective Date: August 9, 2026 This Privacy Policy applies to the Panic Button mobile application ("Application"), developed and operated by SL INNOVAR ("Service Provider"). By downloading or using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. 1. About Panic Button Panic Button is a safety tool designed to alert emergency contacts through automated SMS, phone calls, and location sharing. The Application is intended for personal safety and emergency situations. Panic Button is NOT a replacement for official emergency services (such as 911). In a life-threatening emergency, always contact official authorities first if possible. 2. Information We Collect The Application is designed with a "Privacy First" approach. We collect limited technical information necessary for operation and security, including: Device model and Android operating system version. Application version and anonymous crash reports (via Timber/system logs). Internet Protocol (IP) address for basic network connectivity checks. Anonymous installation and performance diagnostics. 3. Critical Permissions and Data Usage To provide its core safety features, the Application requires access to sensitive permissions. All data obtained through these permissions is used only during an active emergency. SMS Permission (SEND_SMS): Used to send automated emergency messages to your pre-selected contacts. Phone Permission (CALL_PHONE): Used to initiate direct calls to your emergency contacts or official emergency numbers. Location Permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Used to capture your coordinates to include a Google Maps link in the emergency SMS. Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): If enabled, the app records ambient audio for 3 minutes during an alert to document the emergency. Foreground Service: Ensures the emergency process remains active even if the screen is off or the app is minimized. 4. Emergency Contacts The Application allows you to select contacts from your phone book using the native Android picker. Names and phone numbers of these contacts are stored locally and exclusively on your device. The Service Provider does not have access to your contact list. 5. Audio Recordings Any audio recorded during an emergency is stored only in the Application's private storage on your device. Recordings are not uploaded to any server. You maintain full control over these files and can share them manually through the Android "Share" menu or delete them at any time. 6. Data Storage All user settings, emergency contacts, and recordings are stored locally on the device. The Application does not intentionally store personal data or audio recordings on external servers. 7. Third-Party Services The Application may use third-party services to improve functionality and stability: Google Play Services: For location accuracy and app integrity. Google Play Integrity API: To ensure the security of the application environment. These services operate under their own privacy policies. 8. Data Sharing SL INNOVAR does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is only shared when: Triggered by you: Sending SMS/Location/Calls to the contacts YOU have chosen. Required by applicable law or to protect legal rights. Required to investigate fraud or security incidents. 9. Data Retention Local settings and contacts remain on your device until you manually delete them or uninstall the Application. Diagnostic logs are kept only as long as necessary for performance improvements. 10. Your Rights You have the right to: Review or delete the emergency contacts and recordings within the App. Withdraw permissions (Location, SMS, Mic) at any time through Android Settings. Stop all data processing by uninstalling the Application. 11. Children's Privacy Panic Button is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 12. Security The Service Provider implements technical and organizational safeguards (such as local encryption and system-level file protection) to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. 13. Changes to This Privacy Policy This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any significant changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. 14.
